A Patrol on the evening of the 4th August 1870 (2)

It has been a long while, but finally have something to post. I have got around to pushing some more paint around on this project - two years after I started.. I'm quite happy with how it is going. I have another acrylic to finish, and another in the pipeline. I started these mainly to get to grips with the medium, and might push on back to oils eventually.

WWI Pals Poster. (16th (Service) Battalion Northumberland Fusiliers)

Apologies, it has been a while since any posting here. Moved to Scotland in early December last year, so had a lot on really. This is some more Adobe Illustrator stuff. Took the interesting (and long) name of a WWI unit (The Newcastle Commercials) and wanted to make it into a visual and typograpic poster using limited colours. Involved use of the pathfinder palette, specifically 'unite' and 'minus front' options.
